Our kids loved the muppets when they were little. I wondered how they did the opening scene and found out this morning. Jim Henson had to squeeze himself into a metal box under water with an air hose and rubber sleeves on his arms to work Kermit. He watched the performance inside the box on a monitor. It took five days to shoot this one scene
