Guy Pinestra is down
Guy stopped on his way to Georgia. he came by my job then went to the river near my house. He pitched a tent and gathered some wood and wants to fish. tonight we will sit on the porch, drink some rum, smoke, joke and have a good time. It's good to see him.

Probably the coolest dude I have ever met. Vicki is wringing his ear right now on the front porch. I just poured him some rum.

Had a great night, Guy and I are so much alike it's weird. Same politics, same background and beliefs. We didn't stay up late, got a lot to do today on the house but did enjoy a really good time.

We finished running the new sewer line, then went and got beer. Spent the day floating in kayaks, being blown all over the pond, drinking and had a really great day. Guy couldn't reach behind himself to get his beer out so i had to be his beer bitch all day, I ragged him pretty good about it later. He sprung for steaks on the grill, ate and got a really good buzz. I really enjoyed his visit.

there is nothing better than spending some time with a good friend. Guy is a great guy, never met him personally, but know him from another forum. Glad you'll had a good time. Sounded like fun.

I can't believe I missed this topic!! Well, no one ever said I was observant or anything...LOL!
I must admit I had a fantastic time visiting with Ditch and the menagerie, and the sewer lines really didn't even seem like work! I was glad to have a beer bitch, too, or I would have been swimming in that little pond.
I had such a good time I'm going to try and arrange a return visit in the spring, hopefully to fish in some SALT water.
Until then Phillip, know that my prayers and my appreciation run deep and frequent. The well pump is included on that list, too!

The well pump is done. Now that I'm single, yes we can go salt water fishing and the master will put you on the fish, (the house is a lot cleaner too now).
I think I'm going to stick around here maybe 5 more years, to see the grand babies grow. Then I'm heading way down south to live my golden years out in paradise. I have friends that live in Paamul, just north of Tulum, damn near Belize. I want to be a volunteer paramedic in Tulum, it has always been my dream.
I have friends there that are American and own a dive shop. I have a 24 foot travel trailer that is more luxurious than my house. I'll work for free as a dive guide on my friend's baot. Snatch a few huge lobsters and spear a few snapper and eat like a king every day. That's the plan, man.
But I really enjoyed your visit. It was cool being blown all over the pond and not catching fish, just shooting the shit. Perhaps someday you will come join me in Mexico, it's paradise. Blue water, huge sea turtles that will give you an underwater ride and an endless summer of blue water and really cheap living.
