Bluebonnets Empty Bluebonnets

I went in search of bluebonnets last weekend - thinking they would be everywhere -

I was surprised that the flowers weren't as abundant as I expected....but, I did find a field

of masses of bluebonnets just on the outskirts of Brenham on Highway 290. This field made a good photo op -

Many people were there taking pictures.

Other than this field the bluebonnets were sparsely scattered.

A friend has a big field of bluebonnets in Deweyville that are a magnificent show every year.

They were already abundant about March 22.

I know that field on 290 that you mentioned. I was there a few years ago with my sisters. We took lots of pictures. It was a breathtaking sight!
